I'm Jameelah.
It started in lockdown, with a pair of Toy Story trainers for my nephew's birthday. He loved them — and so did my cousin, so I painted another pair, Lilo and Stitch, for her friend. I was still working then, so I never took it seriously as a career.
Then life happened. I had my first son and started customising trainers to make his collection one of a kind. I got pregnant with my second — and then I was made redundant. But I had a gut feeling this was part of God's plan: something I truly enjoyed, and something I was getting better at with every single pair.
One viral comment on Jenna Bennett's post affirmed what I already believed — and the love from people all around the world was amazing. Now I create handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces for people who know that standing out is everything. We're all unique. So why not wear shoes that are just as unique as you are?
Three things, always.
Craft over speed
Production windows are weeks, not days. Each piece gets the time it needs — the work is what makes it last.
Story-led design
Nothing leaves the studio without a brief that means something. Templates are a no. Conversations are a yes.
Honest & transparent
Real timelines, real prices, real mockups before any paint touches anything. No surprises, no upsells, no fluff.
Watch the pieces come to life.
Works in progress, finished reveals and the stories behind them — posted as they leave the studio.
